I can't play fps worth a damn, but I'm really lame and I has no friends. (Oh gawd no..etc.)
But I'm getting a computer built along with a friend..so I won't be on the laptop anymoar. Tchea, Mouse will soon be dying on an actual computer. :D Also, if you've EVER EVER EVEERR lost to me in ANY game (other than fuckin' scrabble, I love scrabble..ohh..and candyland) you should probably commit sepuku. <3 Yes, that means you too Emerson. The guy I headshotted in UT3 With no scope lol owned
So its been a while since my last entry and I think its because I didn't have any inclination to write anything and soon forgot about the whole blog feature of AG. Well anyways as I wait for the eleven o'clock hour I have to say that this past weekend's lan was really good. My friends and I got in early and was able to setup our rigs because we got a parking spot right by the door. There was plenty of drinks on hand and plenty of gaming. Nvidia, BFG and GotGame as new sponsors were great. Of course not only because they provided shwag and video cards for the lan but because they showed a great interest in what we like to do and basically that boils down to having fun. When we all were in the "Danger Room" I think Ginger put it best in saying that AGLan's secret weapon is that room. Yes other lans have games and other lans have physical activities but no other lan I know of has a room dedicated to such activities, save for the parking lot at PDXLan, but your cant really count that since this past "Noodle War" wouldn't be doable at PDX I wish I had followed my own plans in taking more pics and video but it seemed that I was also occupied in having my files availble for download without any downtime from my computer having crashed or something else. Last lan I brought my old laptop and used a usb hub to connect my external hard drives. That didn't work out too well because even though I used a USB 2 pcmcia card adapter, I still was connected via 10/100 and not gig. This time though I used LittleAsianKids's laptop and the leeching was problem free. I was surprised that my pc was problem free also. There was a time that while the TF2 tourney was going, those not in the tourney were in a pub COD4 TDM for more raffle tickets. Since our match was taking a while to start I decided to alt-tab out of TF2 and fire up COD4 and game. Though it took a while to alt-tab back into TF2, rig never went down. Really nice, since lately my rig has been prone to game crashed but I think I found the culprit to that and remedied it (bad ram stick). During some of the downtime of the gaming I finished watching "Across the Universe". Even Rachael Wood is so pretty. The casting of her character couldn't be more perfect. I was surprised at her small nude scene. (yeah baby) I wish I had gotten some time into the S3 Race Simulator but oh well, like at arcades I do like spectating, and I also was able to get some Sega Rally Revo action going on. I like that game. I wonder if the S3 Race Simulator will make another showing with other games/tracks...knock on wood.
So I actually have a blog (no it isn't a buncha emo shit about what i dream and what i saw symbolically in my cereal that morning) that contains my Sonoma State Star articles along with some random tech and political news pieces I find across the net. Check it out : )
